If you resort is close to male, speedboat will charge around $ 50 to $ 200 per person for a return trip. If you are resort is far away from Male, then seaplane will be your only option and remember that you will have to pay a huge amount for reaching there. Seaplane transfer can easily cost between $ 300 to$ 500 per person for a return trip. Thus, apart from the hotel rates, it is also very important to check the airport transfer rates while planning your trip.

4. Food and Drinks are Expensive and Choices are Limited

As your resort will most probably the only resort on your island, you’ll have to eat your meals at the same resort. A single meal can easily cost $ 50 for a single person, including the tax of around 22%. There are also ‘All-Inclusive’ offers which require you to pay for your meals, drinks and stay upfront. Even this is not cheap in any way but you won’t feel the pain of spending such huge amounts on food and drinks every single time you order something.
